No1 Bathroom

Bathroom at No1 French France

The bathroom at No1 French France REALLY was the worst room in the house.

This is what it looked like the day we viewed No1………….

It had a separate wc, and shower……………………

And the washing machine was in there too…………….

We also had a huge hot water tank in the corner ……….

Just look at that lovely shower………………………

Grim!

It’s taken 3 years of saving…………………….

And our gorgeous French builder……………………..

To transform the bathroom……………………………

Are you ready to see…………………………?

We now have a mirror door that slides across……………………

We knocked the wall down between the two rooms……..

And we put in underfloor heating………………….and a new window……

Big job…………………………….

I bought the small chest of drawers and the mirror and painted them……….

And our gorgeous builder fitted the basin onto the top……………………………..

He even put a gorgeous old beam in the new wall he built………………………….

Clever Joseph………………………………………..

But best of all I got a bath!!!!!

Oh pure luxury………………………..

Joseph built a wall and a clever storage unit to hide the hot water tank…………

It’s all just perfect……………………………..

Joseph is such a clever man……………………….

We also have a gorgeous new shower………………

Thank you Joseph for being so wonderful!

  • It looks absolutely gorgeous. That Joseph was such a ‘find’. I’m busy trying to patch the wall, exposed after having new toilet fitted. Previously had large plastic cistern and walls had been skimmed around it. Having to chip of the ‘chunks’ of plaster before skimming. Been putting off since November 2016. Your whole house is wonderful.

    • Thank you Pat, we all need a Joseph in our lives don’t we?
It sounds like you have quite a job on your hands, not an enjoyable one either. (I call those type of jobs………….Living the dream jobs)
Fingers crossed it will be done in a jiffy!
      xx
