Vintage finds for No 1 French France.

Vintage finds for No1 French France.

We still have a very big shopping list for French France………..

It’s hard to fill a home from scratch, and in another counrty…………….

No1 still feels empty……………….

I want it to look, as if things have been gathered over time, and I don’t want new things.

Chippy, worn and distressed………that’s what I need!!

So two weeks ago when we were there…………

We were on a mission to Brocante………………………….

I love vintage finds…………….

I think that vintage finds may be my one weakness.

We found this gorgeous glass cabinet……………………………….

And some monogramed sheets…………

(I made two sheets up, into curtains for the living room)

We found pretty handmade hearts…………………

And this top from an Amoire……………..

All from this amazing stall………………………..

We also found a vintage manniquin and a galvanised harvester, for picking grapes.

(I like to think they were champagne grapes!)

We found some old crates for storage……………..

And these amazing stone angel wings……………

Mr Busy Bee thought I had gone mad when I bought this broken birdcage……….

But once I got it home…………..it went back together quite nicely……………

Last but not least………..

I will leave you with a peek of our most GORGEOUS vintage find……

I fell in lurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrve………………………..

But more of David…………………in the next installment…………

x
