Painting the front of No1 French France……………..
Last time I wrote about our mid life crisis I left you here…………(we had just arrived in French France with a van load of furniture, and no key.)
Well back in August last year, one of the jobs we did at our new home in French France, was to paint the outside, at the front of the house………
It needed it……………………
(Everything needs painting……………but we had to start somewhere!!)
I had taken along one or two tins of paint………………….
After giving all the paintwork a good wash down, we used Farrow and Ball Pigeon.
Four coats did the job……………….(Why does everything take longer than you think?)
We swept up, weeded and tied in the rose………………………..Can you see the blue rubble sacks of rubbish?
They all went to the recycling in the hire car!!
John popped a new light outside……galvanised to match the guttering and down pipes………….
And I had painted a milk churn at home, before we left, so I popped that outside too……………..
It’s starting to look more like home!!
